I just want an idea of who would be interested in doing an educational seminar on a topic having to do with reef keeping. We could make this a bi-monthly type thing, but I am going to talk to a couple of chemistry/environmental systems professors I know and see if we could get one to have a seminar on the Calcium Bicarbonate cycle and the various other ions that impact it. I recently have been doing a lot of research on the topic and would love to take like a 1 night refresher on this. I am going to try to find a professor that would be interested in reef keeping, but I do have some contacts in the environmental engineering/water resources department. Also in the future topics could include, Fluid Mechanics (efficient plumbing and energy uses), Plastics usage and design, or biological identification and processes.
