Eel in tank with ich

Alright I have a coral beauty with ich, my tank is a 75 g FO no live rock or sand. However there are other fish in the tank - 2 clowns, a royal gramma, a 3 stripe damsel and a wrasse, and i also have an eel. Ive read http://www.petsforum.com/personal/t...posalinity.html and I think it would be best for me to treat the tank rather than pull them out. I assume hypo is the best treatment. My main question is can the eel handle the hypo, this is my first ich experience so im trying to learn as much as i can before i go about it but i dont want to wait long either, Thanks !

I don't keep eels, but from reading posts here and articles, I believe the eel will go through hyposalinity very well.

I suggest you run the salinity at 11ppt (too many don't go to that level) AND vacuum out your tank twice a day (just after lights go on and just before lights go out). Be sure to control the salinity using a refractometer.

Ill be buying a refractometer today, also going to get some garlic. I heard it can help.
Thanks for the reply

I know it doesnt cure it, but I figure it couldnt hurt.

Thanks for the luck, I'll probably need it
