Eheim compact 1000 help?

Just purchased the Eheim 1000 compact pump. It comes with what looks like two plastic adapters for the pump outlet. Does anyone actually know how you fit them? The hose I have is 19mm and is too large to stick over the small outlet, was hoping to use what looks like the larger adapter that comes with it, but I don't understand how it fits to the pump? No threading etc?

Help would be appreciate if anyone know?

I cant seem to find any info for adapters to the outlet, any way you can post a pic? Manufacture states 5/8" for hose ID (15.8750 mm)

Mine didn't come with an adapter but as stated 16/22mm is the correct size for it.

If you can't change your plumbing the easiest thing to do would be to use a short length of 16/22 with a step up to the 19mm hose.
