my clown hosts a mag float, near some xenia and I have noticed him kinda checking out the xenia a little, so up with the pictures... we'll see what happens.
 
Haha..good luck. It didnt help my two clowns out at all!! They are going no where near the anemone! I left the pics up for a week. Have you tried just taking the mag float out? Are they tank breed?
 
well he still sleeps on the powerhead, but now he is hovering over some xenia near his spot. I actually wanted him to host in the anthelia but w/e lol.
 
I think it's so cool when they host funky things! (as long as those things don't eat them, or suck them in or w/e else :o ).
 
Ya he is kind of hovering near the xenia by the mag float. Not really much change. The firefish seems to have made friends with all of the new clown fish though lol. Lady what is that green ribbony stuff in the cheato? Is it algae or plastic lol.
 
give him time he will host soon.do you see him going into the xenia?my clown used to go into the anthelia during the day but would sleep on the gravel at night.then after about 3 weeks to a month and he was in it all day and night.
 
i see you have tank raised,from what ive heard they seem to be a little slow to catch on.my clown isnt tank raised so he hosted kind of fast.
 
Soooo is it working? should I put my pictures up?
I feel kind of bad scaring my little babies but if it works ...
 
I had this problem with my perc's they hosted my open brain coral and would have nothing to do with the carpet or the other anemone. So I moved them to one side of the tank with the anemone and put in netting (Wedding vail at Walmart will work .25 FT) used suction cups to keep them in that area and week later they wouldnt leave the anemone. They love that thing 24/7, I think I scared the S*** out of them. It worked and the brain is HUGE because they aren't messing with him. Good Luck.
 
did this work for you? it didnt for my one pair, so i move them to another tank and got another pair. Its still not working!!!
