Electrical Problems?

Thanks guys for all your help and input.
My electricity is running again. A special thanks to Steve (funman1). He came over and crawled everywhere looking for the junction box. Took apart all my outlets and almost got cooked by the heat, opening the attic panel. Hot! Hot!
Anyhow we found the junction box which wasn't in the attic, and sure enough there were some melted wires, which he quickly took care of. If anyone needs electrical help, Steve's the man to call. Also he just got laid off, so you'd really be helping a fellow reefer.
He's a cool guy to deal with, and I'm sure he'll give you a good deal. If you have anything broken, like light switches and outlets, or if you want to ugprade to GFCI protection, now's a good time to fix it or upgrade.
