Watts = Amps X Volts

Is that correct? I am trying to figure out the energy usage on a pump.

Ohm's Law
Volts (V) = Current (amps) * Resistance (ohms)

Watts = Amps * Volts

So you have it right

its not technically a watt, its a volt amp. I dont know why I mention that but not to many people know that.
