I'm interested about the Elegance coral. My tank's too new for me to consider sticking one in my tank, so this is more for consideration down the road.
Do Elegance coral engage in long-range warfare. I.e. do they excrete stinging mucus that can potentially LEAVE the coral, drift with the flow, and come into contact with other corals, thereby injuring it?
I ask because my tank is 2' by 2' wide. My flow is basically a uni-direction circle along the outer edge of the tank. There's one spot I reserved for something big and it's right in the flow. Currently, I have various LPS (fungia, hammer) and softies (shrooms, zoos).
Thanks for the help.
