Elegance Coral Score, Don't Be Jealous

When I left San Francisco about 5 years ago, I gave away 2 elegance corals thinking I'd just pick one up when I got relocated. Well, by the time I was ready - elegance corals weren't living in captivity and I never even tried. So when a local reefer took down his tank and sold his elegance that he'd had for years, I made sure I got it. It is my & my wife's favorite coral. Here is a pic from his tank, he is doing well in my tank already after 12 hours! I'm so stoked. I might set a tank just for him

Very nice. Glad you got one that has been alive for a while. Like a lot of folks I bought one recently against all of the advice that I got here on RC. It lasted about 6 weeks.

Babies would be nice. If it does, the first one is yours for sure. He is doing very well, wide open and beautiful. Easily the best score in quite a while.

jasper24 - glad you haven't tried it again. I wish they would just stop collecting them, but I doubt that's gonna happen.
