Elegance coral separating from skeleton

I have had this coral for over 2 years. My tank has gone though a lot over the past two months. I had a cyano outbreak and I treated it. I end up loosing a few corals. I thought the elegance would survive. I went from 2x150w MH to a radion Pro. I started dosing Red Sea NOPOX. All my parameters are bang on. Just noticed a few days ago the elegance coral was separating from its skeleton. Is there anything I can do. The coral isn't fully extending . I would say close to half way. The separation is getting larger now and more noticeable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So chances are its on its way out.
Its in a low flow area, always has been. I think to many changes all at once did this. If it lasts till the weekend I will try the super glue unless Im advised not to.

I had mine do this once after I damaged it with a glass scraper. I ended up fragging it and never looked back. I took an extremely sharp Chef's knife and cut it right in the tank. I went swiftly and in one fluid, downward motion. It sliced easily through the polyp and the skeleton, which did break up a little bit, but no big deal.
I've since fragged it twice more (mainly to keep its size in check) and the elegance never even full closed up. All frags and mother colony healed up in about a month.
