elephant ear mushroon looks bad

I just got this nice size mushroom and it has been in the tank for about 4 days it is not doing well. Water chemistry seems to be fine. Do these need to be deep in the tank? It is shrinking. Can anyone help?

WHATELSE DO YOU HAVE IN THE TANK?
HOW IS THE TEMPERATURE?
WHAT DO YOU USE FOR LIGHT AND HOW CLOSE IS FROM THE LIGHT?
DID YOU ACLIMATED IT BEFORE PLACING INSIDE THE TANK? IF YES, HOW?

If as you said the water quality is fine maybe is just part of the acclimation in the new space etc. just because it is shrinking does not necessarily means that it is dieing.

keep attention and if it is dieing remove it from your water before it melts away.

I did not acclimate it. damn. temp is fine. I have a bubble coral as well

mushrooms are tuff just keep your tank chem in check and it should do fine.

I have noticed an that my emerald crab has been hanging out around the elephantt mushroom--would it be munching on it?

You need to acclimate everything you put in your tank, if you plan on having any success
