Emerald crab eating Green Acropora horrida?

I am definitely new to SPS, and I bought 4 different frags of SPS today. Mostly I have kept softies and LPS, but one of the frags I bought was a Green Acropora horrida. I saw one of my 3 emerald crabs messing with it this evening and was wondering if it was maybe eating dead tissue from the move or should I pull him out and throw him in my fuge until I can find a better home?

Thanks!

I can't say for acros, but I caught a BIG one eating the tips off of my green birdsnest......I could see the chunks he was removing (and they were healthy). He now lives in my fuge.....The other small ones in my tank haven't done any notable damage.

Thanks reelfreak,

This is one of my smaller ones. They have always seemed to feed on dead material such as snails, or bubble algae. Just seemed maybe there might be some die off (or maybe I am hoping)

I have a hermit who is helping me right now...he is eating the algae off the ends of a tort I have that almost died. He is helping in my situation. He's been busy at it for several days now.
