Hey guys/gals.

I came home to today and my 130g tank has sprung a small leak at the seem very low on the tank. I am giving away corals and rock to anyone who can get it in the next few hours. I do not have place to put it and will only be keeping a small amount for an empty 30g I have. The rest is going to have to go tonight.

PM me here for my phone number.

Bart,

I could house everything for you in one of the 100 gallon rubbermaid tubs until you get a new one. I've got two setup and running and have emptied much of the rock from them, so there is plenty of room. Give me a call at six 4 two one 5 5 six if interested. If not and no one else has called on the stuff, let me know and I can come and grab it, too.

If someone has Bart's number... please call my cell phone. 615-two seven 8 -zero 492

I've been to his house once... but don't know if i remember exactly how to get there. I'm taking with me a 40 gal aquarium... buckets... and coolers.

Please call me if you have his number!!! He's probably busy working on it and I'm on my way to help :).

errrr.... well that sucked. :P 1.5 hours driving and I couldn't find his house... although I was certain he lived on Emery Ct. off Compton.

Oh-well.. I guess its the thought and effort that counts. ;)

Bart... give me a yell sometime or if you need assistance.

Ryan-I didn't get your message until I was on my way home and realized I had messages... My phone is a big POS. I get to get a new one, though (work phone, so I finally broke the boss down;)). This one doesn't ring, nor does the speaker work. The screen has been replaced once and now the flip top is breaking off from the handset and is less than a year old. Not happy with nextel service, either, but it's free, so...

Got the LTA in the tank with the clowns. It was already starting to attach to the tupperware container, so I think it's going to be fine despite my foot massage;). Thanks Bart. The whole cracking tank thing scares the crap out of me.

Hey bart, hope your doing well....sorry for your loss!! I'm glad gary and I could help! Like I said...you need anything back..lemme know!! Or if you need frags for your 30g I have tons of small peices for ya of other corals and such!!

rseagal- I didn't get your pm until this morning...sorry!

Mimi

no problem. I just wanted to help in any way I possibly could. Its not often that I'm able to make myself free at the drop of a hat and I wanted to give it my best effort at the moment. I thought to myself what a misery it would be to come home to a mess such as Bart had.

Yeah, my freedon was almost in jeopardy;). My wife walked in the door to, 'Uh, you may not be too happy about this, but...'. The biggest thing was she was looking forward to eating Mexican all day that day. We still worked the meal in and she didn't have to help me move anything in from the car (and I wonder why Ihave back problems from time to time-you'd think consistently lifted 150+ pounds in flexible/unstable rubbermaid tubs would build it up;), so I was out of th edog house pretty quick;). I was plannign on paring down the two tubs in the living room to one, but that'll have to wait. I'm getting rid of some of the large rock today (gotta send a PM to make sure it is still on), which will freee up room in one of the tubs, The remainder of the rock in that tub will be up for grabs after Ashley gets his pick. I have four or five nice sized pieces (should all be over 10 pounds each-Fiji) and bunch of smaller stuff. The smaller stuff is going into Jenn's 20L and the soon to be upgraded 5.5 to 10 gallon at work. Once this rock is out (these are leftovers from the 180 purchase), I will move the rock that came from the 125 into the tub. It has been cooking and smells horrible, so it will have to sit i a batch of newly changed water for a little while before ai move it into the tubs so I don't mess up Bart's rock. The 125 rock will be sold when it is cured again, leaving me with Bart's rock, which will be used in heling two of my friends set up bigger tanks. The remainder will be sold off (with a decent split going to Bart to help him recover something out of all of this).

As it is, I am confident that I have at least twice as much rock as any LFS in the area;). The leftovers from what Ashley doesn't buy will be sold at $4/pound. The 125 rock will also be $4 a pound, but will take a little curing first. I like leaving them in the tubs with the G5 skimmer to help them drop their detritus and get rid of the nasties so they can be beneficial in a new tank rather than detrimental. Long and short of it, if anyone needs rock over the next few months, let me know. I won't let any of it go until I'm sure it has been cured, but should have some ready in a few weeks. I feel like I'm peddling rock on the corner... "Who needs some rock? The stuff I've got is the fire, who need some fire rock (in my best crackhead voice);)."

gflat's on crack!!!!! Pass it on!!

TN_Sledge.....all the corals are doing great....the nepthia has all it's polyps out and is fully extended...the frogspawn is doing well too!!! The huge rocks with the xenia fit into my tank....I actually had to break one up into two and it worked out wonderfully!!
Just wanted to let you know...all is safe!

:)

If you guys are overstocked from Bart's misfortune, feel free to go frag happy at the next meeting. I'm sure there will be plenty of takers! :)
