I have a Crocea clam been in my tank for about a year. Always viberent with color, purples and browns. It is fully open most of the time. The other day a ballast on my tank failed to disengage and the lights were on for 36 hours or so. Now it is light brown w/ purple specs. The old shell that it was mounted to fell off. I notice a mini brittle star 1/4" was on the bottom where the two shells meet in a hole where you can see the flesh of the clam. Is my clam dying? The clam is currently in the sand bed under 1 14k 250w hamilton tech MH and 1 20k 150w Coralife MH w/ PCs. I feed my tank w/ krill, cyclopsees and various algea and seafood.
