Emperor Angel QT

Has anyone have any experience with Hyposolinity with Emperors? My Emperor is akting a little weird Swimming side ways and kinda lethargic at times. I only am down to 1.0018.

Double check your first post. 1.0018 or 1.018? Many fish are routinely kept at around 1.018 and that SG won't bother any fish.

Sorry, I meant 1.018. Must have been the Ambien talking. Do angels generaly do OK with hyposalinity treatment? This is my first experience with them.

I've read (though cannot cite) that Emp. Angels are extremely tolerant of hyposalinity treatments. Just make sure you do it gradually. Angels can swim erratically at times, it's part of their nature. Just keep an eye on s/he.

does the fish see its reflection off the bottom glass ?

I used to have a copperband in QT that was fighting with its reflection all day,

You know, That might be right. He does swim close to the glass bottom on his side. But he doesn't seem aggressive. Thanks for the thought.

Thanks, That makes me feel better!
