Emperor Angel with SPS

I have a 90 gallon SPS tank and i was wondering if an Emperor Angel would be suitable for my tank. And if it would nip or eat my corals?

thanks

When mine was small it picked here and there at polyps but there was no damage to speak of. Now that it is larger I never see it pick at polyps.

I got a 1.5" emp and put it into my 90G sps after isolation. It grew fast and I moved it to my 210 about 3-4 months later. It never picked on any SPS but did eat the few straggling zoos/polyps that I had.

However, a local hobbists had an emp from the same LFS order that would not leave his SPS alone... or clams.

I would say that it is 50/50 and not to try one unless you can easily catch it.

You better have a bigger tank in the works if your planning on getting an emperer angel. 90G is ok for a juvenile, but they grow fast.
