Does any one have this fish?

I'm looking to get one and was wondering if it will nip my chalices.

I've been reading and seems like most will nip on zoos and acans, but I don't know about chalices.

"Danger Will Robinson, danger" LOL just kidding, I don't have one but would love to some day. I can tell you I added a flame angle a week ago and regret it, live and learn I guess.

Imperator will hammer most of your lps, I'd not recommend it.
Took my little guy out my main tank yesterday. He's moving to a FOWLR system.

I have one. No issues with SPS. LPS is a different ballgame.

i had one before losing him to power outage. in general large angels (and most dwarf angels) are a really bad bet for a reef tank. though like what Steve said, some angels may only pick at certain types and not others, but you wouldn't know until you put them into the tank. it's an individual personality thing.

you should also keep in mind that emperor angel grows very large, 18" in the wild and you need a minimum of 8', 300 gallon tank to properly house one. when full grown their bodies can be more than 2" thick, really fat.
