Encrusting coral id please with pics

hello

picked this rock up from a lfs and it had this coral attached to it. no idea what it is but it seems to encrust on the rock and spread pretty good.

Leptastrea would be my first guess, assuming the rock is from the Pacific. If it was on a piece of Atlantic/Caribbean rock, then I would guess Siderastrea.
 
It's a faviid. Getting to genus, unfortunately, really requires a closer skeletal exam of a clean (= chloroxed) skeleton.
 
One thing it is not if Favites. Favites spp. share corallite walls. It is one of the defining characters of the genus. This coral does not share corallite walls.
