engineer goby not reef safe???

I have an engineer goby that is about 10 inches long. The other night I was feeding my fish and a neon goby swam by his hole and he grabbed it. Good sized neon about 1 1/2 inches. Tapped the glass and he let it go and the neon swam off. I had another neon that was smaller that went missing. Today I had a small jack knife go missing. Anyone have any experience with them being aggressive or eat other fish? Thank you.

I got rid of mine becasue what I was told once they get the taste of blood they will kill. I lost 2 cleaner shimp due to them

A friend of mine lost several cleaner shrimp and 3 cleaner wrasses to his. Got rid of them when he upgraded.

Well, it's still "reef safe" isn't it

I GOT rid of mine because of the same problem.
