Epoxy on a couple of Zoa polyps

Hi,

I did a bit of moving things around last night, added a few more rocks to provide some added landscape for future corals, and decided to epoxy a couple of Zoa frags given one had fallen over due to a snail.

the one frag was on a piece of live rock (probably 6-7 polyps on a small piece of LR). I placed the epoxy around the bottom of the rock and secured the piece to the aquascape.

I hadn't noticed it yesterday night due to the fact that I stirred up quite a bit of sand adding some additional rock pieces (cloudy water), but a couple of polyps have some epoxy on their side (not so much on the "flower" itself, just up the edge where the polyp opens).

i'm not home during the day to see if they still opened today, but while the others were opening up this morning the two in question were barely open.

has anyone else done this, any advice. I'm thinking just leave it be, worst that could happen is the two polyps dying off and then the rest of the colony just growing over top. are these reasonable expectations. they've been doing well and have grown approximately 3-4 polyps since I got them the last week of Dec (approximately 3 weeks ago, averaging 1 polyp per week).

Not much you can do and likely any efforts will do more harm then good. If your colony is growing a polyp a week in 2 weeks time you will be no worse off by leaving it alone.

yep, they seem to be fine after all, the ones with a bit of epoxi still open up (although seem somewhat challenged) and they still seem to be growing.

added a few more coral last night, holding back on the epoxy use.
