Epoxy

What does everyone use to epoxy there frag rock onto larger rock. I just went downstairs to check the tank and I noticed the tux urchin had knocked over one of my acros onto another acro. The Purple tip is now slightly whited out where it was sitting. I don't really want to cut the frag to glue in onto another rock I am just looking for a way to secure its frag rock ont the rock that its sitting on.

If any one has a way to do it with out epoxy please let me know. I have never had this problem before i added the tux urchin. I would like to keep the urchin as its a great algae grazer.

Thanks
Scott

You can use super glue gel. Rub some on the rock in the tank then put glue on the frag rock and put it down where you rubbed the glue

I have been trying that....Maybe I just haven't been using enough glue. I will try it again.

Thanks
Scott

The problem with superglue gel is that it gets quite brittle over time and is only a good option if the bond will be reinforced later by the coral growing on to the rock. A better solution is to use rubble or acrylic rod to reinforce 2 part epoxy or drill 2 holes and zip tie the rocks together.
