Can anyone tell me if my seahorse is pregnant

Doesn't appear to be to me - they often flush their brood pouches to attract a mate. My little guy has tricked me several times already!!! If he is carrying it's very early.

I just wanted to make sure cuz he just started to look kinda bulging in pouch area and my female I noticed about a week ago that she looked really skinny

Usually the males pouch is really obvious when he is preggers. The pouch will be filled out from top to bottom.

Here's an extreme example.
