I have a tube of erythromycin ophthalmic ointment USP 0.5%. It was prescribed to me to prevent an eye infection. I hardly used any of it. Would this be useful as a topical treatment for fish?

Since you'd have to capture & hold the fish to apply it, I would say no.

Yeah, that's a drawback. I have heard of people catching and anesthetizing fish for certain treatments, did not know if anyone around here has done such a thing.
