Euphoria Thoughts?

So tank water has been perfect. No nitrates, 1200 mag, 430 cal, 9 alk. Set up for three months with live rock already cycled. When done cycling I was left with a little turf algae. For the last 4 days dosed 1 ml vodka. All of a sudden my hammer shrank in and my gsp only extend a little. Was trying to get the turf algae to go away. Cut feeding back also. Also torch is about 12 inches away. Rock flowers kind of hid for a day or so too. Would you say the hammers don't like the super low nutrients or don't like the torch so close? Xenia even waxed up for the last week.

Hammers are euphyllia which are lagoon corals. They like low flow, nutrient rich water. Some adapt to higher flow + 0 nitrates/phosphates, but I've always had the best success growing them in a slightly dirty tank.
