Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick update + a question. Everything is doing great in the tank! Fuzzy mushrooms have quadrupled in size, gsp are growing great, and all my zoas and palys seems to be doing just fine. i have two ricordea on the bed, im posting a pic below of what seems to be this thing splitting into 3's?!! I know its hard to see but in person its literally glowing orange and neon green. The mouth/center? is neon green and extending a little bit and within the past week ive noticed two more of these pop up!

i do apologize for the ehhh pictures but#1 its tough with the bow, and #2 even harder with an iphone with the actinics and leds on ( and off)

Let me know what you guys think, and am i right about the ric??

Love all those button polyps!!! I need to get some more.

How long has your tank been up and running?

Thanks! i had a completely different set up about a year and a half ago... bought a house, attempted to move everything and the tank crashed :headwally:. i started fresh so the tank has been up and running for just about 7-8 months, added protein skimmer, t5ho x2 + led strip. and everytings been doing pretty good ( kind of a novice at corals etc but im learning!

i must add... that massive huge enourmous 20-30 head of zoos..... i actually picked up at a local petco ( not the horror story of a petco ive read on the boards).. long story short after bargaining and out knowledging/witting/conning/ sales person into...i picked that whole rock up for a whopping 35$!!

WOW!! what a deal, makes you almost want to break it up and frag it out!! make some decent profit off that purchase.

Pretty novice on the whole coral game myself. The caring for them does not seem to be all that bad. I have have a super hard time remembering all the different names, especially with acros.

Thanks everyone! ^^^ i know, i think for what i have going on its been pretty simple ( knock on wood) i see sometanks on here that absolutely blow my mind. Im confident that i could get to that stage of reef keeping but money wise i dont think i could keep up. Mine is very simple with easy to care for corals. Its a perfect addition to the living room and the colors in the tank are phenomenal. I know ill get the itch and eventually splurge on some upgrades, but for now i will let time tell and see how everything goes.
