ok the height of my sump where the water height can go up to is right below 5in. is that height good enough for that skimmer?

I have an RS-100 model and the directions say 6 to 8 inch water level. I have mine set at 7 inches. I think the two units are pretty much the same. You can go to ER web site and they will give you the information.
