Euroreef skimmer for sale

I have a 2 year old Euroreef CS 6-2 skimmer for sale. This skimmer is 24 1/4" tall, 6 inch body, and the footprint you can kind of tell from the picture. I have it sitting on the base of a 5 gal bucket and it is slightly overlapping the sides of that. It is in good shape and has been a real trooper for me, as you can see from the pics below. I have seen ratings for this skimmer all over the charts. My system is 150g and I've always kind of felt it was underpowered for that large a volume. I think it would be a great skimmer for total system volume of like 120g or less. I have done no mods on it, it was used basically plug and play out of the box. Powered by a Sedra 3500 pump. The cup is very clean with no chips or cracks. It has been run in a vinegar bath and wiped down moderately. I am selling it because I'm moving up to a higher rated skimmer size. Let me know if you have any questions. $180.00

Taken today after rinsing off some after the vinegar bath:

been out of the skimmer research program for a while after I bought the H&S... thats skimmer looks pretty tight,,, how do you like it? if you dont mind where did you get it?

Very nice skimmer, so far, IMO. I've had it running a couple weeks now I guess and there's a lot of gunk in it now. Going to clean the cup out good, make some minor adjustments in the water level, and see just how good it can do. Also need to consider replacing the air line. If you look in the equipment forum, there is a multi-split thread on these guys. Basically, I had been out of the market for awhile too, so I went over there and just asked for some good suggestions on skimmers under $500. The top 3 that came out was the DAS ex-2, Octo Pro, and MSX 200. Some of the real equipment fanatics have been taking these things apart, charting the air flow through them, etc etc etc, and seeing what kind of performance they can get out of them. It's all in the threads over there. Just generally, it is supposed to be a very good skimmer at a good price and had a small-ish footprint (which I needed). The other skimmers were really pushing my sump space limits. Overall, I'm liking it...especially for around $350.
