Ever hear of an anemone eating maroon Clown??

After work yesterday we noticed that one of our maroon clowns were missing. He has pulled a disappearing act before - but we found him in the overflow. We looked and looked yesterday - but never found him. Do you this it's possible the anemone ate him? The anemone was extremely tight last night - like he is after being fed.....:eek2:

what kind of anemone? Was it a carpet anemone?

It was a bubble tip.

possible but not likely, although on one occassion I did witness a scared clown dive right into the mouth of a nem.

Well it's five days and counting - still no sign of the clown fish and the anemone is still scruched up like it had a "really good" meal!
