Ever seen a brittle star this big?

Thought you guys might like to see the star that Tim gave to my son last year. I have fed him well (2 whole silversides every 2 days or so)

He lives behind this section of rock and I had to coax him out with food to get pics but I didn't get time to clean the glass and move things to reduce glare. Sorry the pics aren't great but you should get the idea.

Tim, I am going to bring this guy Friday if you still want him back.

Thats about the normal size for a brittle star, mines that big and I don't feed him directly.

I have one that big... He was in my main tank until I noticed two small gobies and a wrasse come up missing. He now lives in my large sump all by himself. He is the tiger strip kind.

Like Eric said... Fish Eater when they get that size. Cool to look at though.

I had a very large brittle... but after $300 of missing fish, it was time for it to get lost. I took him to a LFS for trade in.

I also had one like that . He knocked everything over and was a pain to catch. Every time I would get hold of him I would tare apiece of his arm of , It would regenerate . I eventually caught him and put him in my fuge, then gave him away . I don't know what made me buy him anyway.
