Everybody loves my Frogspawn! Check these out!

At the swap meet last time around everybody was quick to snatch up my Frogspawn. I fragged some tonight from a really well established mother colony. One of the frags could actually be called a small colony. Looking at the divisions and the pattern divisions this will be SEVEN nice sized heads in about 2 months. That guy will probably be for a little more then I usually charge but still an excellent value.

That aside I have in the past had babies drop from my colonies and start to grow in the sandbed. Sometimes they get swept away in the current and get lost and I always miss them. I have in the past been able to rescue a couple and attach them to something much bigger. I have one that started out as a couple of little polyps that is going to be four leaf clover shaped in about a month and I'm going to promote that bad boy to mother (father)colony for fragging and just see how huge I can get it to grow as centerpiece when I eventually (I've only been yapping for over a year) put a 210 in the basement in place of the 150 in my living room.

I have digressed again. While fraggin the big colony I dropped three small babies which I mounted to shells. I'm going to take better pics tomorrow and I am going to start taking weekly photos to chart the development of these corals provided that they survive the super glue.

I thought I'd share.
