Package 1 was transported in good condition. TSA open the both packages but did not damage the live sand or rock in any way. I transferred the sand and live rock and added the bacteria according to your instructions about 8:30pm last night and all went well. So far I have found one good crab and several snails. My protein skimmer is off but we have the two powerheads and a filteration system working constantly. I believe we need a small amount of sand. I turned the lights on for about four hours and the tanks also is receiving a small amount of afternoon natural light. I have no ammonia, and no nitrate and my water temperature is 75 degrees. The gravity specific level is about 1.0025 and my PH is about 8.0 ppm. So hopefully I am doing well! My husband loves the tank and have arranged the rocks pretty nicely in the tank.
