Experience with wavemaker in Aquarium Obsessed tanks?

I am very interested in having Aquarium Obsessed build my next tank that will be about 225 gallons. They have cautioned me against wavemaker use in it though. I was just wondering what experience others may have had out there, good or bad, with their tanks and wavemakers (I use the Tunze one if that makes any difference).
