I am going to be setting up a cold water reef tank soon. I have lots of invert questions. I am just copying and pasting this from my thread in the advanced topics forum:

1.) The nudibranch Dirona albolineata appearantly eats primarily bryozoans. What exactly are bryozoans and how do I get them in my tank? Are there any nudibranchs in the Puget sound that don't eat anemones? What about the ones from the Maine outlet? MAINE OUTLET LINK

2.) I am kinda leaning towards adding a few clams, mussels oysters, and barnacles to my tank. How often do I feed them? Will marine 6snow, oyster eggs, or phytoplex make good foods for them? If not, what? Does anyone here keep any, if so how are they doing?

3.) How do you care for hydroids, Tubularia crocea in particular? What does it eat? Will fish or inverts eat it (besides certain nudibranchs)?

4.) Are there any corals in the Puget sound?

5.) Are there any stars from the Puget Sound that don't eat shellfish or nudi's? What about the ones from Maine.

6.) What does the star Amphipholis squamatus eat? Are they similar to the micro-stars you get from floridapets.com?

7.) Are sponges filter feeders? Are they delicate? Does anyone here keep them in their coldwater reef, if so how are they doing?

8.) What puget sound critters make a good clean-up crew? I want lots of macro-algae so I am kinda leaning towards scavengers, sand bed stirrers, or micro algae eaters.

9.)How do you feed anemones? (Note that coldwater anemones are non photosynthetic)

10.) Is it possible to keep any of the
Worms available in that Maine link? If so what do they eat? Do they burrow in the sand? MAINE WORMS LINK

Thanks for reading! Should have put a warning label on it for it's length
