Ext. Overflows

Ok so I'm building a new rimless and was wondering if anyone new of an exterior overflow that was quite, looks good, and most important low profile since I want to be as close to the wall behind the tank as possible.

Are you referring to a hang-on siphon type overflow box?

It is far better to drill a hole and gravity drain.

Drill, if you DIY it's cheaper, quieter, less risky, and runs better.
