Hello ..
Those who have them, please post pictures of your external overflow designs.
I recently purchased a tank 24" cube) with the rear pane cut short, I have to install a overflow and could use some suggestions. I've purchased a peice of acrylic and plan to cut teeth into it, then silicone it to the back of the tank. The rear pane is cut 22"( height)(, the acryclic sheet 24" (height). On each side of the pane a 3"x3" square of glass will be siliconed in place, the teeth of the acrylic will be cut in between the squares (18").
Also, as I don't really like having a peice of silicone along the whole back I was going to silicone one each side of the rear pane a 3"x3" square and perhaps silicone a peice of glass between them then somehow attach some eggcrate.
Clear as mud? Suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Jaret.
