The F-5's were there for the air show if I am not mistaken. Not sure about there training. Great Pictures as always!!! How was the show? Where you there when the two plane colided?

I was not, that happened on Thursday I went on Saturday.

Those are absolutely stunning images you have captured! I mean, I've got no other words. Sharp, well contrasted, incredible detail......your experience shows! I hope to someday be able to capture images as good as this! Guess that means I need to find more time to practice.

great shots and fab plane... I'd love to get some shots of the Eurofighter Typhoon at Southport (UK) next month.... assume you were using one of your big telephotos?

just looking at the images closely (might be my monitor) looks to be some very faint artifacts around the edges of the planes... very faint, but still there. Could be sharpening related?

Have you ever shot a show with a circular polarizer? It would be interesting to see what it might make pop, out in the open sky.
