well just wanted to say thanks to Ben for a good deal. I just did two measurements and here are my readings 0.01 on my 90g sps tank and 0.15 on my 20g lps tank.

yup I was happy with my p04 reading on my 90g as well. Now I just need to work on my 20. See if I can get it to a lower reading. Now I know why my blue milli is looking freaking cool.

what did your Salifert (or test kit) tell you? My Salifert kits have always read zero..My Hannah Colorimeter tells a diif story.

same here. That is why I got the hanna color meter. Even my 20g tank said it was zero. I even asked the question on the salifert site and they said the test kit was good.

I had the same response from Habib and others on the Sali forum..Its hard to believe the test kit is good yet a colorimeter reads 0.09 or in your case 0.15 and the kit reads 0.00

yeah I well. Now I dont have to buy the salifert p04 test kit. That is a saving in it self not only that I can monitor where my p04 is coming from. For instance my reactor media put out 0.03 my rodi is only at 0.01. Now I know why my water is so crystal clear.

Be sure to draw the water sample from below the surface and do your test before doing top-off, cleaning, feeding, etc.
Also the result from the reactor may or may not be accurate since the test says there may be interference with "high" alk samples.
