I have a Bubblegum digi frag, a forest fire digi frag and a WWC Grafted Montipora. All 3 have almost no noticable green and have been in my tank for 2-3 months. Here are the parameters of my tank which is general stable.
Temp: 78.5 degrees
PH: 8.0 - 8.4
SG: 35 ppM
Ca: 420ppm
Alk: 7.7 dKh
Mg: 1320
NO3: 1.0 -2.0
PO4: 0.0 - 0.02
I am lighting with 4x T5 (2 Coral+ & 2 Blue+) and 3 Radions for 10 hours with 1 hour blue ramp up and down and 14k at peak.

I have read that iron generally affects green colors and was thinking of dosing it up but my last ICP showed iron among everything else was within acceptable range.

Has anyone does up Iron in response to lack of green? I do have green film algae growing in the tank so I believe there is some iron. My green slimer although slow growing is still a bright green color so I am not sure if i can use that as an indicator.

If ICP tests shows iron within range and you are doing water changes with a decent salt mix I would not worry about it. Look to other causes. Are other sps looking good and colorful?

Thanks yes I have other acros that seem to be doing well. Oregon and Cali Torts are growing and coloring well. 2 small Rainbow acros (WWC & PC) showing growth and paler colors. Large Miyagi and Bonsai and coming back from browning in my previous tank. All have good PE. I will just leave it alone. I get an ICP about every 3 months so I will check again and look for a trend.
