Fairy wrasse aggression

I recently added a Cirrhilabrus lineatus wrasse super male but it was been chased by my male
Labouti wrasse. I removed the latter to the sump for a couple of weeks to let the new fish settle which it did. I tried replacing the Labouti wrasse but it chased the new wrasse again. Is this likely to settle? I have read about using acclimatising containers to safely let the fish to get used to one another. Is this likely to work in this case or do I need to sell one of the fishes?
tank size is 72x30x30

A social acclimation box works wonders for diminishing aggression. However, some species are more aggressive to congenerics, and some individuals are more aggressive than their reputation. Keep the new fish in the acclimation box for a couple of days and observe their interactions. If the exising fish still seems aggressive after a couple of days, then it is best to rehome one, but if it doesn't pay any attention to the new fish the two usually coexist.

I may struggle to catch the new fish as it is hiding and not feeding. Do you suggest that I catch the aggressive fish the put it in the sump then when the new fish is settle again and feeding that I then put the aggressive fish back in and then put the new fish in an acclimitation box. It is clear I should with hindsight have done that before adding the new wrasse..
Would it work to just add the aggressive wrasse to an acclimitation box?

Many people have had to remove Laboutis because of aggression... Always use acclimation box for new additions, especially wrasses...

If u have the labouti out already Id try to put him in the box and let the lineatus settle in. Then see how the labouti responds while in the box. If there is still aggression get rid of the labouti and try another one, but this time box the new one for a few days.
I've only had 1 aggressive labouti out of 5 or 6. It would chase only 1 fish incessantly and that was my male nahacky wrasse, which sadly jumped out due to the labouti chasing him.

When I introduced my Blue Flasher Wrasse, I had him in an acclimation box for about a week due to my Exquisite Wrasse being a bit too curious. When I finally let him out, the Exquisite chased him all over the aquarium. The Blue Flasher went back into the box, and the Exquisite followed him in there. So, I let the Blue Flasher back into the DT and left the Exquisite in the box for 5 days. The Exquisite calmed down (he looked downright depressed in the box :)) and no longer chases the Blue Flasher.

They can be a very simple 'plastic box' that most large pet stores sell...
