I've looked through the stickies in the forum. I don't see anything that sounds like what my wrasse has. I've also searched with no luck.
I have a whip fin fairy wrasse. Two days ago I saw he had a bump on his nose - just above his mouth. Looked like he swam square in to a rock. We have a coral beauty, and they occassionally chase each other - so I figured it was a wound from dodging in to the rock work.
The bump/lump is getting larger. There is nothing growing on his skin that I can see.
The fish stays in the rockwork all day now, when normally he's out swimming around. He comes out to eat.
Is there anything I can do to help the situation? I guess if it's a wound I'll have to hope he recovers. I just want to make sure that it's nothing that is going to spread to other fish.
Is there anything I can add to help him heal that is reef and invert safe?
Thanks for any advice!
