hello all,
I read the FAQ on here and added another false perc to my 15 hex. The original had been in a 55 gallon by itself for about 7 months so I knew it had to be female. I went to the LFS to get a new false perc and picked the smallest one in a tank of three, the largest i figured would be a female and the others male. The new guy is slightly smaller than the current clown and when i put him in the tank the two got along swimmingly (sorry, bad pun). then, come feeding time, the old guy starting charging the new guy and they battled for about 20 seconds until they both went separate ways. the new guy has been in there for 3 days now and when i watch from my couch they seem to get along (even swimming together) with a very occassional "charge" from the older one. The new guy doesnt fight back though, he just moves away.
my question is do you think they will eventually get along completely? i want them to pair up and be able to host some LPS i put in there and i wanted to see if i am being overly paranoid.
thanks
