Familiar face at Fish Planet

Seen Matt at Fish Planet saturday. I guess he moved on from Exotic. I talked with him for a while, he has a lot of good ideas for the salt section.

I hope so. That place is a joke. From equipment to drygoods to livestock... they need help.

He did a great job over at exotic. Lets hope he gets this shop in order. Heck, its right by my house and I won't even go there.

fish planet had some nice corals and fish today.
blue spot jaws
scott's fairy wrasses
a huge yellow stripe velvet fairy wrasse
a few nice acro colonies

Just curious why he would leave a really good fish store.

Saw him at your reef looking for bulkheads he said he has to redo everything and its alot of work.

But i think he will get it turned around

I talked to him a few weeks ago and he was saying that they are turning the Koi ponds into coral flats. He said he is also trying to convince them to turn the chichlid tank in front into a reef too. Given a little time should turn into a really nice place. I am going to keep an eye on it. The day I was in there I found a Yuma on a rock in the LR tank, sold it to me at the per pound price still. I got me a nice green yuma for $7.53, sweet deal. I say everyone go check out FP and see whats new!

FWIW, I really like their "clam tank." I agree that the best way to view those babys is from above.

We have six clams and nobody "get's it" until you lift the canopy and have them climb the stepladder...

I just got a beautiful 6" clam this past week from that tank for $59.00!!

That edgeless has always looked great and I thought that was a great deal.
