Fan control sensor

Does anyone know of a sensor that could read the temp of the water and control a fan to turn off and on at certain temps.
Right now my sump fan turns on and off with my MH's. But I due to the massive evap I would rather have the fan set to a sensor that truns on and off within a 2* window.

So since my heater has it's own sensor already I could buy a Single Stage, stick it's sensor in the water, plug my fan unit into it and it'll turn my fan on when it gets to hot??

Sounds like that's what I'm looking for if it's what it does.

Yes, the Ranco single stage would work for that. Personally I don't ,rust the sensor on heaters, so I would still suggest the dual mode and plugging heater into unit. Much more reliable solution.

My ReefKeeper II controls my fans based on water temp
It also shuts down my MH lights if the temp gets to high
Shuts down one light, then if the tank continues to get hotter it shuts down the second one.

Right now you can get the Aquacontroller Jr and a DC8 for $224 from Neptune. This would do what you need and control the rest of your tank as you quire more equipment like a calcium reactor.

Can also be used with software to send you an email alert if a parameter is exceed.

I am not familiar with the Aquacontroler Jr. but you can read about the ReefKeeper 2 here

ReefKeeper

This thing is really easy to program, never had a pH meter calibrate so fast.
