fan on sump.....

I hooked up a 10" fan to a x-10 module today. The fan blows on the sump and turns on when the water gets 80 degrees and shuts off at 79 degrees. My tank has been getting up to 82.5 before the lights automatically shut off, it looks like they will be staying on for the full cycle today. The fan works wonders, its also causing my PH to climb which is another bonus.

My sump fan is a critical part of my pH control...I need the evap to increase the amount of Kalk thru my automated kalk top off system.

I have really tweeked my settings and like it now....tank lights are about to go off and temp is 78.9 deg

1200w of lights, like 6 submerged pumps, and 2 6" fans keep my tank under 80.5.

The AC including in rent helps too.
