fans in the canopy

Whatever you do when you buy fans check them often or this is what could happen.

This is a 300 gallon ART tank, the guys fans went craps on him and got the tank hot broke the top and you can guess the rest.

That happened because the tank got to hot?!?! That's the reason to put in redundancy (mulitple fans).

Yes the fans quit working when he was on vacation and broke the top pieces and it put to much stress on the outside panels. It was 3/4 inch acrilic also.

I thought acrylic only warped when it got too hot? Or maybe that was plexi...
