I'm sure this has been floated before and not implemented for some reason or another, but I see a lot of the same questions asked every few weeks in this forum. It always sparks a discussion where the usual suspects reiterate why you should or should not do this or that.
I know I can just skip over the ones I've seen, and I guess it's likely newbies wouldn't read the FAQ anyway, but it seems like a good idea IF...
1) It's a sticky with a closed thread, i.e. no discussion.
2) Only the thread owner and mods can update.
3) It's kept current.
4) FAQ answers include links to further discussion, blogs, threads etc. for the particular FAQ.
Something like the sticky waterkeeper made for articles for a newbie, but in an FAQ format.
