Last week, out of the blue I noticed my Kole tang had a bunch of marks all over him and he looked really beat up. At first I was worried about HITH cause the largest mark was right on his front, just under the level of his eyes. But he had a couple marks all down his sides too, so I figured he got in a toussle with something in there. The marks lingered for at least a week, and I started getting worried about HITH. Then all of a sudden, within 2 days, they healed right up :eek2: . Is that normal for a physical injury like that? I must admit I have little experience with bites/cuts in my fish (plenty with diseases thouhg ) and really just don't know about it. Just thought it was strange how fast the marks went from there to literally gone without a trace. Also glad it wasnt HITH

I've noticed the same thing with my Tomini. His brown body is so smooth that the slightest bump leaves a mark, but it goes away very quickly.

I've noticed the same thing with my Kole, he's healthy as a horse so I always assumed he was getting knicked squeezing in and out of the rock work.

Good to hear my idiot tang isn't alone. He's always bumping into stuff...
