Fauna Marin Ultra LPS food

They don't need to be soaked at all. When they are soaked in water for to long they will start to brwak down. You can either put them in a cup with tank water and feed by using a turkey baster or you can spoil your corals and feed by hand :)

Not intending to hijack but I have been thinking of trying this out as my next coral food. Currently I target feed Rod's original blend, does this product work similarly well to make the switch?

It works very well, but I would continue using rods food in addition to the lps food. Variety is good! Rods food feeds the whole tank.

Not sure

Not sure

I have both the small and large pellets. And I think that they are so so. Most of the corals do take them but end up spitting out most of what was put in. Plus is smells Exactly like cat food. IMO it is expensive cat food. I do get almost the same reaction from spectrum pellets.

I can tell you that the fish love it.

I dont think I will be purchasing any more.

Hi

they smell like Cat food cause some of them also use fish and Shrimp as a base. But there is a massive different between Coral and Catfood. To talk about the quality of a product over the smell is defenitly not possible. Also you look only on the first reaction, If the corals spitting out the food you give them much to much. The food is high concentrated it is not a normal fishfood rebranded as a coralfood like so many other company´s do and did not care what happens with the corals if the Po4 level in the food is to high.

So i a coral after feeding with LPS food takes the food out it was to much...

I don't get the cat food smell. My stuff loves them. I have had more success with the little ones. Everything eats them like crazy. I do find you only need to feed one or two pellets to a good sized LPS. That seems to be all they need. Very concentrated stuff.
