Fave photo of the night...

I was playing around with my Nikon D40 tonight, and here is one of the photos I was able to capture. Hope you enjoy the pic. I am relatively new to photography, so I am definitely learning quite a few things. This particular photo was taken in RAW format, and the WB was adjusted using GIMP.

Nice photo but looks underexposed.

Yeah nice shot but it is underexposed and a bit soft. The exposure should be easy to fix in in PP with the RAW file. You may even be able to do an unsharp mask to help with the softness.

Thanks for the feedback. I am still learning how to take coral photos and etc. It's a new camera, and I am not use to editing photos. However, I think I'm doing pretty well for just starting out. I'll eventually be able to get it correct with adjusting things.
