Favia Receding

My favia coral is approx. 6 months old and I noticed that a lot of the flesh from the favia coral has receded. When feeding, I no longer notice any tentacle extension. Any help would be appreciated.

75gal tank, 6 bulb T5, 30 gal sump, sg 1.025, mag 1400, dkh 9.6, cal 460,

I am measuring the salinity with a refractometer. Currenty, I have a Hippo Tang, yellow tang, kole tang, and 1 clown, and none of them seem to bother the favia. The favia is located on the substrate (crushed coral) bottom of the tank.

Have you calibrated your refractometer with calibration fluid? If you calibrate them with ro/di they can be way off. I had a similar issue last year and turns out mine was off by like .004...

I am having the same problem. I have had mine for about 9 months. I bought it as a fresh cut frag with no color. it was going great, it colored up nice and split. I added a Vortech MP10 and I moved it to the bottom of the tank so that it would not get too much flow. Now it's tentacles don't come out any more and it's starting to recede. I am guessing that it is starving, I have been spot feeding it Brightwell Zooplanktos-M. I just picked up some Dr. G's Live Phytoplankton and Rod's Coral Food. I made a mix last night, everything else went wild except that.

My Sal is 1.025 and my tank tests all say everything is good except may Cal is high.

Help Please
