favite wont eat

My brain wont eat anything I give it...the tentacles will grab it but they wont pull the food to the mouth...should I worry? ?

Assuming your parameters are within reason and the lighting is sufficient I wouldn't worry about it. FWIW I've never target fed any of the Favia/Favites corals I've ever had and they seemed to do just fine.

Photosynthetic corals like Favites and probably everything else in your tank can eat food, but they don't need food. It's a really important distinction. imo newer hobbyists shouldn't start feeding corals until they have a good amount of hobby experience since it's super easy to overfeed which can mess up your water quality which leads to algae and other issues that can harm your corals or stop them from growing.

Nothing in my tank aside from nems gets fed, everything grows like crazy. Corals prefer stability to food imo.
